Website Redesign/Overhaul

Ariel Investments

  • Managed complete rebranding/redesign of Ariel website
  • Used analytics and usability testing to improve upon overall effectiveness of site
  • Created and presented designs/options/recommendations to senior marketing team; maintained tight project schedule
  • Created wireframes and final designs; managed programmer; proofed/tested and supervised revisions

 

RESULTS

  • Usability testing after launch showed complete reversal in problem areas – users were able to easily find content and navigate the site
  • New sidebars, footer navigation, and related content items encouraged movement around the site, reducing exit percentage and increasing pageviews and engagement with site

Website Responsive Version

Ariel Investments

  • Initiated and managed project to create responsive version of the Ariel website
  • Created and presented designs/options/recommendations to senior marketing team; created final designs and instructions for vendor
  • Managed vendor; proofed/tested and supervised revisions

 

RESULTS

  • Ariel website is now easy to navigate for mobile and tablet users; increasingly important as Ariel’s younger audience increases

Newsletter and Email Initiatives

Ariel Investments

  • Initiated and managed implementation of quarterly e-newsletter, including design
  • Expanded email initiatives to include quarterly email to shareholders to encourage increased investments

 

RESULTS

  • The Ariel View e-newsletter continues to be successful, with an open rate between 32 and 36% (double the industry average of 17%) and a click rate between 4 and 6% (much higher than the industry average 2.6%)
  • The quarterly shareholder emails also have high open rates in the 30% range, but more importantly, clicks are highest in targeted areas

Social Media Initiatives

Ariel Investments

  • Led social media efforts, including compliance and board presentations that addressed potential issues and outlined processes and solutions for FINRA regulations
  • Put processes and software solutions in place for social media posts
  • Designed and set up social media outlets; created and uploaded graphics and posts
